Ian McCarthy

Ian McCarthy has extensive experience in the finance and transportation sectors. Currently serving as a Train Driver at Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail since September 2021, Ian previously held the position of Regional Sales Director at First Auto Finance Ireland Ltd from April 2013 to September 2021, focusing on dealer-focussed motor finance solutions. Prior to that, Ian worked as an Area Account Representative at First Citizen Finance DAC and held various roles at permanent tsb, including Lending Specialist and Senior Staff Officer. Ian's educational background includes a QFA Diploma in Finance, Banking & Investment from IOB and a Leaving Certificate from CBS Youghal, Co. Cork.
