Mark Wood has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mark started their career in 1993 as a Delivery Driver at Pizza Hut, where they worked until December 2007. In 2005, Mark joined Verizon as a Utilities Customer Service Representative, where they gained proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Mark also learned programming in Visual BASIC and created tools to enhance reporting efficiency. After their tenure at Verizon, Mark joined Comcast Cable in 2007 as a Communications Technician 4 Pro. In this role, they installed cable and services for residential customers, including cable boxes, modems (gateways), and home security systems. Mark also excelled in setting up home networks. Mark recently joined iA in June 2022 as an Information Technology Support Specialist.
Mark Wood has a diverse education history in the field of computer and information sciences. In 1993 to 1997, they attended Ball State University where they studied Computer Science. Following this, in 2012 to 2013, they pursued MCSE Certifications at Brensten Education. In 2020 to 2021, Mark enrolled in the Cisco Networking Academy, focusing on CCNA.
Mark has also obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. In 2013, they acquired the CompTIA IT Fundamentals certification from CompTIA. Then, in 2016, they obtained two certifications from Microsoft, namely MTA: Networking Fundamentals and MTA: Windows Operating System Fundamentals. In 2021, Mark earned the CompTIA A+ ce Certification and completed two CCNA certifications: Introduction to Networks and Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials.
Currently, Mark is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services at Southern New Hampshire University, which started in 2022 and is expected to conclude in 2024.
