Anne Chahine

Research Associate "reimagine Arctic Research" at Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies (IASS)

Anne S. Chahine currently serves as the Interim Research Group Leader for "reIMAGINE Arctic Research" and as a Research Associate at the RIFS Research Institute for Sustainability since July 2022. With a diverse background in anthropology and visual research, Anne has held roles such as Co-Editor for the NAFA Network and served as a Consumer Insights Specialist at UserTribe. Educational achievements include a PhD in Anthropology from Aarhus University, an MA in Visual and Media Anthropology from Freie Universität Berlin, and a BA in Media Design from Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln. Previous experience also includes research positions at the Museum Europäischer Kulturen, Greenland National Museum and Archives, and participation in the POEM H2020 Project. Additionally, Anne founded Pixelmarie Media Design & Technology, focusing on audiovisual production and project management.
