Vickie Richard

Vickie Richard has an extensive work history spanning several industries. Vickie began their career as a Programmer Analyst at Sara Lee Hosiery in 1988 and remained there for ten years. In 1998, they transitioned to VF Corporation as an EDI Analyst for a brief period. From 1999 to 2007, Vickie worked as a Programmer Analyst at LabCorp. During this time, they gained experience in EDI Billing and utilized Lean Six Sigma tools to improve processes and analytical tools. In 2007, they held roles as a Sr. Programmer Analyst at Veritude and later as a Sr. Developer Engineer at Fidelity Investments. At LabCorp, from 2010 to 2015, Vickie worked as an EDI Billing Analyst, where they addressed discrepancies between paper requisitions and EDI HL7 orders and collaborated with vendors and clients to improve data capture. Currently, they are employed at IAT Insurance Group as a Programmer, maintaining their daily private passenger system using Cobol/CL on an AS400 platform and enhancing automation.

Following this, from 1986 to 1988, they pursued a degree in Computer Programming and obtained an AAS degree from the same institution. Additionally, from 2009 to 2011, they earned a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Alamance Community College. Vickie further expanded their knowledge by pursuing a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Alamance Community College between 2014 and 2015. Vickie also has additional certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from North Carolina State University, although the specific dates of when this certification was obtained are not provided.
