Daphne Hayes

Daphne Hayes is a seasoned professional in the film industry with extensive experience in various creative roles, including Director, Producer, and Writer at Reel Girl Films since January 2014. Daphne is also the Founder of My Mothers Keeper, dedicated to creating impactful change, and serves as a Board Director and Buyer for IATSE Local 479, managing budgets exceeding $500,000. As a Freelance Filmmaker, contributions include set decoration and art direction, while also teaching film at Chapman University. Prior to these roles, Daphne garnered experience as a Senior Researcher with the U.S. Department of Commerce and has held multiple positions within the film industry since 2006. Education includes studies at Darton College and Bauder College.
