Julie Mohanna

Julie Mohanna currently serves as Legal Counsel at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) since April 2025, providing privacy and legal services. Concurrently, Julie works as a Stagehand and Lighting Operator with IATSE since July 2023. Previously, Julie was a sole practitioner at Mohanna Law from October 2022 to April 2025 and served as Corporate Counsel at Institut du Savoir Montfort from December 2015 to March 2022, focusing on corporate, contract, health, construction, and insurance law. Julie has extensive experience in contract negotiation, policy development, and research collaborations, and has held positions as a Lawyer/Legal and Statutory Coordinator at both Hôpital Montfort and Institut de recherche de l'Hôpital Montfort. Julie's involvement in the Ontario Bar Association included planning events for young lawyers and participating in community outreach programs. Educational qualifications comprise a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Bishop's University, with additional minors in Criminology and Dramatic Arts.
