Daniel Hermann has extensive experience in the automotive and technology sectors, currently serving as a Senior Technical Expert in V2X Application Development and Standardisation, as well as Team Manager for Vehicle2X-Safety at IAV since June 2013. Prior to this role, Daniel worked at Volkswagen AG from January 2008 to May 2013, holding positions as Development Engineer for ITS-Safety and Research Engineer for Vehicle2X-communication, contributing to various projects such as SimTD, NoW, CoCar, Aktiv, and UR:BAN. Daniel's career began with a diploma student role at AUDI AG in 2007, following experience as a student at Dornier Consulting International GmbH and service as an Electronic Technology Specialist in the Bundeswehr from March 1999 to August 2003. Daniel holds a Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing.) degree from Hochschule Mittweida and has additional educational experience from the University of Paisley and vocational training as an electrician at Elektro Hermann.
