Marc Sens

Senior Vice President Research & Technology I Sustainability Engineering at IAV

Marc Sens has extensive work experience in the automotive industry, specializing in research, development, and advanced technology. Marc began their career as a Technical Expert in Failure Analysis at AUDI AG, where they analyzed technical failures in powertrain systems. Marc then transitioned to various roles within IAV, including Development Engineer and Head of Department for Advanced Development in Gasoline Engines. Marc later became Senior Vice President for Advanced Development Powertrain and Sustainability in Mobility at IAV, where they led strategic initiatives and managed research and technology projects. Marc currently holds the position of Senior Vice President for Research & Technology and Sustainability Engineering at IAV. In addition to their industry role, Marc also serves as a Guest Lecturer at TU Berlin and is a member of the Scientific Board of FVV e.V.

Marc Sens attended Coventry University in 1997, where they studied Maschinenbau. Marc then went on to study at Berlin University of Applied Sciences Berlin (BHT) from 1992 to 1997, earning a degree in Maschinenbau with a specialization in Kolben- und Strömungsmaschinen, earning him the title of Diplom-Ingenieur.
