Robert Böhler is an experienced engineer specializing in driver assistance systems and automated driving technologies. Currently serving as an Entwicklungsingenieur at IAV since March 2020, Robert focuses on modeling and simulation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), bus simulation protocols, and automation using Python. Previous roles include a master thesis and working student position at Daimler AG in the Perception Department, where Robert investigated depth estimation with a Gated-Time-Of-Flight camera and engaged in pattern recognition and camera analysis.
