Thomas Werner

Thomas Werner possesses extensive experience in IT infrastructure and operations, currently serving as Abteilungsleiter/Head of IT Infrastructure Shared Services at IAV since May 2019. Responsibilities include the provision, operation, and enhancement of IT infrastructure across multiple data center locations, managing various technologies such as virtualization environments, storage solutions, and network systems. Prior roles encompass Product Owner Datacenter at IAV, focusing on IT and data center services, and positions at Stadtwerke Wolfsburg AG and WOBCOM GmbH, where Thomas held leadership roles overseeing operations, service teams, and technical project management. Thomas began a career in IT as a network planner/administrator at Teleplan GmbH and holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Electrical Engineering from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
