Mike K. Sohn

President & CEO, International Bank of Commerce, San Antonio at IBC Bank

With 33 years of experience in the banking industry, 26 of which have been spent with IBC Bank San Antonio, Mike Sohn is one of IBC's most seasoned employees. Throughout his career, Sohn has amassed a wealth of knowledge in all areas of lending. His tenure and "We Do More" attitude make him uniquely qualified to uphold IBC's legacy of customer service excellence.

Mike Sohn was selected as CEO of IBC Bank San Antonio in 2012, where he previously served as executive vice president in charge of commercial lending. Sohn manages the day-to-day operation of the commercial lending department and oversees the retail branch network of 20 locations including branches in the communities of Luling, Marble Falls, San Marcos, and Schertz. His expertise and vision are the foundation of IBC's strong market presence as he specializes in lending to professionals and executives, commercial real estate, construction, manufacturing, and the oil and gas industry.

Community outreach is an IBC Bank strength, which Sohn embraces by volunteering his time with organizations throughout the community. He currently serves on the board for the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, the Briscoe Western Art Museum, and the UTSA School of Business. He previously served as a board member with the San Antonio Sports Foundation and the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. He is active in a number of professional organizations including the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, the Independent Petroleum Association of America, the San Antonio Chapter of the American Petroleum Institute, the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association, and the Coastal Conservation Association.

Sohn graduated with a bachelor of science from Texas A&M University in College Station. He also graduated from Southern Methodist University's Intermediate Banking School. He and his wife Donna have two sons.
