Sebastian Geier

Sebastian Geier has extensive work experience in the solar energy industry. Sebastian started their career in 1998 as a Service Technician at Kälte - Klima - Technik Schramm GmbH, where they worked until 2001. In 2004, they joined IBC SOLAR AG as a Product Manager for Mounting Systems and held this position until 2008. From 2008 to 2010, they served as the Team Manager for Product Management in Mounting Systems. Sebastian then transitioned to the role of Strategic Product Manager from 2010 to 2014. Sebastian further advanced their career at IBC SOLAR AG by becoming the Director of Product Management from 2014 to 2018. Currently, Sebastian Geier serves as the Director of Corporate Strategic Marketing at IBC SOLAR AG, a position they have held since October 2018.

Sebastian Geier has a diverse education history. In 1994-1998, they studied Electrical Engineering at SBBS Sonneberg and obtained a degree in Elektroinstallateur. Later, from 2001-2003, they pursued Mechanical Engineering at the same institution and obtained a degree in Staatl. gepr. Techniker Maschinenbau. In 2005-2007, Sebastian studied Business Administration at DAA Technikum Würzburg and earned a degree in Geprüfter Technischer Betriebswirt (IHK). In 2010-2011, they attended the University of Applied Sciences Schmalkalden and completed a degree in Product Management (FH). Sebastian then moved on to Danube University Krems in 2011-2013, where they obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on General Management. Additionally, in 2012-2013, they explored International Strategic Management and Business Planning/Financial Management at Vienna University of Technology. Lastly, in 2011, they participated in the Doing Business in China Program at the School of Business and Management Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
