César Alonso

César Alonso has had a diverse range of work experiences. In their most recent role as the Chief Compliance Officer at Iberdrola México, they have been responsible for ensuring compliance within the company. Prior to this, they worked at CBRE as the Regional Ethics & Compliance Officer LATAM and Compliance Officer, overseeing various compliance activities. César also served as the Internal Control & Audit Manager at Mazda de México Vehicle Operation, where they implemented the Internal Control System and Internal Audit Function. Additionally, they worked at General Motors as the Dealer Audit Coordinator and held various finance positions within the company. César began their career at Ernst & Young as a Senior Audit, where they conducted financial and process audits for international and public companies.

César Alonso has a Master's degree in Auditing from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. César also has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the Universidad de Xalapa, A.C., which they completed from 1996 to 2000. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos, which they started in 2018 and expects to finish in 2022. In terms of certifications, César has obtained the Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional-International (CCEP-I) qualification from Compliance Certification Board (CCB) in 2021 and the IMEF certification from IMEF Oficial in 2016. Additionally, they plan to complete a Diploma of Education in Business from IPADE Business School in 2023.
