Diego Rojas

Diego Rojas is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Offshore Grid Connection Manager at Iberdrola since April 2021. In this role, Diego is responsible for coordinating the connection of the offshore wind farms Baltic Eagle and Wikinger Süd with the grid operator, managing negotiations and ensuring timely contract fulfillment. Previously, Diego worked as a Remaining Works Coordinator at Vestas, addressing project punch lists for wind turbines, and held various roles at Deutsche Energie-Agentur GmbH Dena focusing on market development for renewable fuels. Diego began a career at BD as a Worldwide Project Leader, managing international projects related to raw materials, and has a solid educational background in industrial engineering and new energies from prestigious institutions, including a Master's degree from Technische Universität Berlin and a degree from UAM Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana.
