María Dolores Esteban Pérez

María Dolores Esteban Pérez is an accomplished professional in the fields of civil and maritime engineering, holding prominent positions since April 2021 as the Decana of the Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos de Madrid and Vicedecana of the same organization. With an extensive career at Iberdrola since March 2006, María Dolores has served as Engineering & Resource Team Leader and led various teams in offshore wind project development. In academia, María Dolores has been associated with Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Universidad Europea since 2004 and 2008, respectively, where María Dolores teaches and conducts research in maritime engineering and renewable energies. Additionally, María Dolores contributes as a lecturer at Instituto Marítimo Español and has held a position on the Governing Board of Colegio Ingenieros Caminos, Canales y Puertos from 2018 to 2021. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Maritime Engineering and master's degrees in Marine Renewable Energies, complemented by a Civil Engineering degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
