Mario Ruiz-Tagle

Mario Ruiz-Tagle is the CEO of Iberdrola España since July 2022 and holds a prominent role as a member of the Board of Directors at Neoenergia, where engagement has spanned from 2011 to the present. With a substantial background in energy and institutional relations, Mario has served as CEO and Chairman of the Board at Neoenergia, and as Director at both the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Instituto Acende Brasil from 2004 until July 2022. Previous experience includes various leadership positions at Iberdrola Brasil from 2002 to 2017, including Country Manager, Business Director, and Institutional Relations Director. Early in his career, Mario held the position of CEO at Iberoamericana de Energia Ibener S.A. and Chairman at Empresa de Servicios Sanitarios de Los Lagos S.A. Educational credentials include an MBA in Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a degree in Legal and Social Sciences from Universidad Diego Portales.
