Miguel Requejo

Miguel Requejo has a diverse work experience in the field of digital analytics and big data. Miguel started their career at Iberdrola in 2018, where they held the positions of Senior Digital Analyst and later Digital Analytics Lead. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2018, Miguel worked at Indra | Control Systems - Energy Technology. Here, they served as a Big Data Specialist, focusing on development, DevOps, design, consultancy, and training in the deployment of Indra's MDM product for UTE, Uruguay's national energy company. Miguel also contributed as a Big Data Developer, exploring potential Big Data solutions for their Meter Data Management system. Additionally, they worked as a System Engineer, primarily developing profiling algorithms for energy consumption estimation within an MDM system.

Miguel Requejo obtained a Master's degree in Robotics and Autonomous Systems from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in 2013-2014. Prior to that, they completed a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Automation and Electronics from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2009-2014. In 2018, Miguel also earned a certification as a CCA Administrator from Cloudera.
