Jesús Mérida is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and IT management. Currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer at Iberia since May 2019, Jesús oversees information security and cybersecurity initiatives. Additionally, Jesús holds the position of CCI Regional Coordinator for the Central Area of Spain at the Centro de Ciberseguridad Industrial since October 2017. Previous roles include Chief Information Security Officer and Data Protection Officer at Tecnicas Reunidas, where responsibilities included managing the information security department and ISMS, as well as various IT management positions across multiple organizations, including SGEL, DHL Exel Supply Chain, and Exel. Jesús possesses academic credentials including a degree in Geography & History from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Master's degree in Telecommunications from CICESA (UPM).
