Manuel Monforte Escobar

Manuel Monforte Escobar is a seasoned data professional with a robust background in commercial data and AI. Currently serving as the Head of Commercial Data & AI at Iberia since November 2021, Manuel leads a cross-functional data team focused on revenue management, ancillaries, and sales, while managing approximately 30 roles in an Agile environment. Previous roles include Senior Data Engineer & Data Scientist, with extensive experience in dynamic pricing algorithms and end-to-end data project design. Manuel's earlier career featured positions at NEXT DIGITAL HUB and SciDataUCM, where foundational skills in data engineering and mentoring were developed. Academically, Manuel holds a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Master's degree in Data Science from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
