Brian Hanley

Brian Hanley, CMA, CTP has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Brian currently holds the position of SVP Commercial Lending Regions at Regions Bank since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as SVP Corporate Banking at IBERIABANK starting from March 2017.

Earlier in their career, Brian worked as a Director at KeyBanc Capital Markets in 2014. From 2012 to 2014, they held the role of Senior Vice President at BBVA Compass, before which they served as Vice President at Bank of Texas from 2010 to 2012.

Brian's career in banking started in 2005 when they assumed the position of Vice President at Mercantil Commercebank N.A. Brian then worked as Vice President at Bank of America from 2002 to 2004 and at Union Planters Brokerage from 2000 to 2002.

Before transitioning into the banking industry, Brian held the role of Southwest Finance Director at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise from 1998 to 2001. Brian also worked as Vice President at Compass Brokerage from 1994 to 1998.

Brian Hanley, CMA, CTP earned a MBA in Finance from the University of North Texas in 1990. Brian previously obtained a BBA in Finance from the same institution in 1988. Additionally, Brian completed the CPA Exam Requirements in Accounting at the University of Houston. Brian also holds certifications as a Certified Managerial Accountant from The Association of Accountants and Financial Professionals in Business since 2013, and as a Certified Treasury Professional from the Association for Financial Professionals.
