Jorge Flores has a comprehensive work experience in the banking industry, spanning over several decades. Jorge Flores, currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Senior Audit Manager at First Horizon Bank, a leading regional financial services company with assets of $79 billion. Prior to this, they served as Senior Vice President, Audit Manager at IBERIABANK and Sabadell United Bank. Jorge Flores, also gained valuable experience as VP & Audit Manager at Ocean Bank and VP & Director of Internal Audit at Pacific National Bank and Banco Internacional de Costa Rica. Jorge's expertise in auditing and finance is further demonstrated by their roles as Bank Examiner at Banking Superintendence and Exports Officer Specialist and Accounting Officer at the Central Bank of Costa Rica. Jorge Flores, is a highly qualified professional, holding multiple certifications including CPA, CGMA, CIA, CRMA, CRCM, CAMS, and has also contributed to the field of education as an Adjunct at Florida International University.

Jorge Flores has a Master of Accounting degree from the Florida International University - College of Business, which they obtained from 1995 to 1998. Jorge Flores, also holds a Licentiature in Business Administration from Universidad de Costa Rica UCR, obtained from 1983 to 1985, and a BBA in Business Administration-Accounting from the same institution, obtained from 1977 to 1982. In terms of additional certifications, Jorge Flores has obtained the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in December 2013. Jorge Flores, also holds the CAMS certification from ACAMS, obtained in 2006.
