Eugene Mumiah

Eugene Mumiah has a diverse work experience in the field of design and communications, primarily in the international development sector. Their most recent position was as a Communications Consultant with IBI - International Business Initiatives, where they provided consulting services in various communication and design assignments for the USAID Liberia Data, Evaluation, Learning, and Technical Assistance (DELTA) Activity. Prior to that, Eugene worked as a Design and Communications Consultant with Management and Engineering Technologies International, Inc. (METI), supporting the USDA US Forest Service International Programs in Africa and the Middle East.

Before joining IBI and METI, Eugene served as a Visual Communications and Multimedia Specialist at the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), where they contributed to the implementation of a five-year strategy aimed at agricultural transformation in Africa, benefiting millions of farmers. Eugene also worked as a Communications Consultant with DAI, where they undertook various communication and design assignments for USAID projects such as RADP-East, Feed the Future Policy LINK, Feed the Future Africa Lead, Afghanistan Value Chains High Value Crops (AVC-HVC), and East Africa Trade and Investment Hub.

Additionally, Eugene worked as a Design and Communications Consultant with the Borlaug Institute for International Agriculture, providing support to the USAID Afghanistan Value Chains Livestock (AVC-L) program. Eugene also served as a Design and Communications Consultant for the USAID Resilience Learning Activity (RLA) with ACDI/VOCA, as well as an independent consultant with Wasafiri, working on the BRICS East Africa CVE program.

Prior to their work in the international development sector, Eugene founded Picture Milieu Group LTD, where they likely gained experience in design and communications. Eugene also worked as a Design and Communications Consultant for ACRE Africa, focusing on agricultural and livestock insurance value chain. Earlier in their career, Eugene contributed to a DFID-funded project called PSP4H Pharmnet Pharmacies at Cardno International Development, which aimed to improve access to quality essential medicines in Kenya through the development of branded retail pharmacy networks.

Eugene Mumiah completed their O-Level IGCSE education at St. Christopher's Schools from 2006 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, with a specialization in Computer Software Engineering, at KCA University from 2009 to 2012.
