George A.

George A. is an experienced professional in the international development sector. GEORGE has held various roles since 2008, most recently as Chief of Party for USAID/Armenia Public Finance Management Activity at IBI - International Business Initiatives (2022). Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Mission for IsraAID (2022), where they developed and consolidated a strategic direction for the Ukraine Response Mission. GEORGE was also a Key Expert for the EU Assistance for Uzbekistan Agri-Food Development Strategy 2020-2030 at DT Global (2020). Other roles include Team Leader for the Evaluation of USAID/Afghanistan’s Measure for Accountability and Transparency Program at Overseas Strategic Consulting (2020), STTA Senior MEL Advisor at Dexis Consulting Group (2020), Business Development Consultant at multiple consulting firms (2020), Team Leader for Performance Monitoring Services for USAID/Armenia at Social Impact (2017), Chief of Party for USAID/Advancing Performance Management at The QED Group, LLC (2012), and Interim Chief of Party/Deputy Chief of Party for USAID/Manpower II and USAID/PERFORM projects at The QED Group, LLC (2012). GEORGE was also Country Director for Relief International in Pakistan (2010) and Director of Monitoring and Evaluation for USAID/Iraq Legislative Strengthening Program at AECOM (2008).

George A. attended Kutaisi State University from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Russian Language and Literature. GEORGE then continued their studies at Kutaisi State University from 1991 to 1993, graduating with a Master of Arts in Russian Studies (magna cum laude).
