James Owen

James Owen serves as the Global Head of Engineering at IBISWorld since November 2023, following a distinguished career in technology leadership. Previously, James held various roles at The Lygon Group, including Director of Technology, and led the Technology Team at QS Enrolment Solutions as Executive Director of Technology. James’s extensive experience also includes positions at Hobsons as Development Director and at Ocean Software as a Senior Analyst/Developer. Academic credentials include a Master's in Information Technology from Swinburne University, an Accelerated Development for Emerging Managers from Mount Eliza Business School, and a Bachelor's in Computing from Monash University.
