Tara Banick

Tara Banick, PT, DPT, RYT, is a seasoned physical therapist currently serving as a Physical Therapist and Assistant Facility Manager at Illinois Bone & Joint Institute since June 2022. With a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and a B.S. from Bradley University, Tara boasts extensive experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, and rehabilitation. Tara has held various positions within the Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, including Chairperson of the IBJI CARES Foundation, and has contributed as a physical therapist in multiple settings since 2002. In addition to a successful therapy career, Tara is an accomplished musician, performing as a violinist and pianist in ensembles such as Due Dolci and Acoustic Therapy since 2010. Tara also pursues baking as a freelance baker, specializing in desserts made from scratch without artificial ingredients or preservatives.
