Amina Roderick is an experienced designer with a diverse background in industrial design and user experience. Amina's career began at Lifetime Brands as a Product Designer for consumer kitchen tools from November 2004 to July 2006, followed by a role at mmckenna → Humanscale as an Industrial Designer specializing in LED lighting and ergonomic office furniture from July 2006 to August 2010. Amina contributed to Osram Sylvania as an Industrial Designer for commercial LED lighting from August 2011 to April 2014 and then transitioned to Dassault Systèmes | SolidWorks as a User Experience Design Manager for 3D CAD software from December 2015 to July 2019. Since August 2010, Amina has served as the Lead Designer and Strategist at Design Monster, LLC, focusing on client-driven product development. Currently, Amina is an Advisory Innovation Designer at IBM Client Engineering, leading user experience design efforts and facilitating collaborative client engagements. Amina holds an MFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a BA from The College of Wooster, along with additional studies at Danmarks Designskole and AlphaLoft.
