Ann Funai

Ann Funai is an accomplished technology executive with substantial experience in leadership roles across prominent companies. Most recently, Ann served as the CIO and Vice President of Business Platform Transformation at IBM from April to June 2023. As a Founding Limited Partner at Operator Collective since January 2019, Ann focuses on investing in and accelerating B2B tech through collaboration with diverse operators and investors. Prior to that, Ann was Chief Technology Officer at MyFitnessPal, overseeing the establishment of the technology organization post-divestiture from Under Armour. At Under Armour, Ann held the position of Senior Vice President of Engineering, leading the development of a unified Engineering team across various digital platforms. Ann's earlier experience includes serving as SVP & Chief Technology Officer at PeopleAdmin, specializing in talent management solutions. Ann holds a Master's degree in Technology Commercialization from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University.
