Ben Brothwell serves as the Data and Application Security Competency Lead for IBM Security Services across the UKI, Northern Europe, and Benelux regions since April 2018, focusing on consulting, systems integration, and managed security services. Prior to this role, Ben held multiple positions at Northdoor plc from May 2007 to April 2018, including Security Practice Lead and Infrastructure and Information Governance Services Manager, where responsibilities ranged from designing security solutions to mentoring junior staff. Additional experience includes roles at Portman Building Society, State Street Bank, Saga Holidays, and Castrol, with a strong emphasis on technical support and infrastructure management. Ben has obtained various IBM credentials and graduated from Dover Grammar School for Boys in 1995.
