Bill Trappen

Bill Trappen is a corporate attorney with over twenty-five years of post-qualification experience across various countries, including the U.S., Austria, Japan, and Canada. Bill specializes in international business and commercial transactions, corporate governance, and intellectual property. Currently, Bill serves as Counsel at IBM, where they focus on advocacy in GenAI, quantum, and cloud computing, applying extensive problem-solving expertise to support innovative solutions in the technology industry. Bill has also held positions as Associate General Counsel at Lumen Technologies and Assistant General Counsel for the Florida Department of Transportation, among others, and has experience as an adjunct professor. Bill earned a JD from Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
