Jerry Chow

Jerry Chow has a notable background in quantum information processing and applied mathematics. As a former IBM Fellow and Director from August 2019 to April 2022, Jerry demonstrated expertise in leadership roles, previously serving as Senior Manager. Jerry has been a member of the Global Future Council on Quantum Computing at the World Economic Forum since November 2018. Academic foundations include a Ph.D. in Physics from Yale University, where research focused on superconducting qubits and quantum algorithms, and a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University. Early career experiences include internships at Credit Suisse First Boston and Bell Labs Lucent Technologies.
