Jonathan Canales is a cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in threat management, compliance, and security operations. Currently serving at IBM as part of the X-Force Threat Management Services for LATAM, Jonathan focuses on protecting financial institutions in Latin America and possesses a deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, SOC operations, and key metrics. Jonathan's prior roles include serving as a Cyber Security Consultant with expertise in PCI compliance and QRadar management, as well as working at Scitum as a Consultor de Correlacion, where Jonathan designed correlation rules for SIEM systems. Earlier experience at Software Express involved managing antivirus solutions, customer support, and security analysis. Jonathan holds a degree from Universidad Tecnológica de México, completed between 2019 and 2022.
