Mark Nelson

Mark Nelson is an experienced professional with a career spanning over four decades in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Staff Member at IBM since July 1982, Mark specializes in z/OS Security Server (RACF) design and development. Prior to IBM, Mark worked as a Systems Programmer at Grumman Data Systems, focusing on telecommunications, and as a Computer Operator at Time Sharing Resources, managing an APL time-sharing system. Earlier experience includes a managerial role at Restaurant Associates, where Mark progressed from food vendor to manager at the Forest Park Carousel concession. Mark holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from Marist University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering.
