Nhan Pham

Nhan Pham is a Staff Research Scientist at IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center, specializing in optimization for machine learning, reinforcement learning, and automated machine learning. Previously, Nhan worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, contributing to the Deep Learning program and teaching decision models and data inference courses. Nhan also held positions at the University of Nevada Reno, focusing on autonomous systems for bridge inspection. Nhan's educational background includes a PhD in Operations Research from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.
