Shawn Brennan

Shawn Brennan is a seasoned professional in global sales and go-to-market strategies, currently serving as the Global Sales & GTM Leader at IBM from January 2022 to May 2024, overseeing the Global Data Management, Data Lakehouse & OEM business unit. Previously, Shawn held the position of Global Sales Leader, driving the launch of IBM's Data Lakehouse product, watsonx.data. Shawn also contributed to Cloudant, an IBM Company, as the Data & AI Business Unit Leader for the NorthEast and as Market Development Manager, where a focus on inside sales and opportunity generation was key. Prior roles include Account Executive at Intronis and Manager at Basics Plus, where operational leadership was demonstrated. Shawn holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, completed in June 2010.
