Vedpal Vaidya

Vedpal Vaidya is an experienced storage developer currently working at IBM since May 2025. Prior to this role, Vedpal served as a Member of Technical Staff 2 at Cohesity from December 2024 to April 2025 and worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Veritas Technologies LLC from January 2022 to December 2024, focusing on appliance and software-defined storage architecture. Key contributions at Veritas included designing the Fibre Channel feature for Netbackup Flex Scale and developing a health monitoring feature utilizing Python. Earlier experience includes a project internship at ifm, where Vedpal developed an internal inventory management website using Django and SQL, as well as roles as a Web Master for the VIIT ACM Student Chapter and backend developer at Upcloud Technology, where backend solutions for medical applications were designed. Vedpal holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, completed in 2022.
