Michael Mintz

Michael Mintz has over 15 years of experience in software engineering and quality assurance. Michael currently works as an Automation Engineering Lead at iboss, a role they have held since 2018. Prior to this, Michael worked at Veracode as a Senior Software Engineer in Automation from 2015 to 2018. Michael rebuilt the web automation framework for Veracode's application security platform, making it faster, more reliable, and easier to use. Michael also has experience at Jana, where they served as a QA Automation Lead from 2014 to 2015. At Jana, they built a Python/Selenium-based testing framework and automated the member support team. Before that, Michael worked at HubSpot as a Lead Automation Engineer from 2011 to 2014, where they developed Python Selenium/RC and Selenium/WebDriver-based scripts to test applications and built a custom-made testing framework. Michael also worked at Mo'Minis as a Senior QA Engineer and Game Developer from 2010 to 2011, designing test plans, developing mobile phone games, and performing automated testing. Michael began their career at ITA Software as a Senior Quality Engineer from 2008 to 2009, where they wrote software, created test plans, and designed and wrote unit tests. Michael also worked at Comverse as a Software Engineer from 2005 to 2008, improving test team productivity and automating the billing system, and at CSG Systems as a QA Engineer in 2005.

Michael Mintz earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Physics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they attended from 2001 to 2005.
