Chelsey Sassine

Chelsey Sassine is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in chemical engineering and software development. Currently serving as an Associate Platform Engineer at Ibotta, Inc., Chelsey previously completed a Java Full Stack Bootcamp at Skill Distillery, where skills in designing and implementing Java applications and creating RESTful microservices were honed. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Monroe Energy, LLC, managing the yield accounting department and overseeing software project management, as well as serving as a Chemical Process Engineer, where significant operational improvements were achieved. Chelsey's engineering foundation was established at UOP in roles as Field Advisor and Chemical Engineer, and earlier academic research was conducted at Johns Hopkins University, where innovative 3D micro device designs were developed. Chelsey holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
