Limahl Asmall started their work experience in 2011 as a Co-Founder at MacMaster Design, where they specialized in high-end decorative lighting products. Limahl then worked as a Chef at Ladle and Skillet, where they served as the Head of Kitchen at a long-term pop-up restaurant. In 2018, Limahl joined Spoonzy as the Head of Food, responsible for implementing content development processes and evidence-based nutritional guidelines. Limahl founded Tiny Budget Cooking in 2014, a project that aims to help people living on a low income and facing food poverty. Limahl is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Health. Simplified ltd, a health tech company using diet and psychology to treat Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Additionally, Limahl participated in the BGV Autumn '20 Cohort at Bethnal Green Ventures, a leading tech for good VC and accelerator.

Limahl Asmall attended the University of Lincoln from 2005 to 2008, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Furniture Design and Production. After completing their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education at the London Metropolitan University from 2009 to 2010, where they earned a Masters degree in Design.
