Eirik Cooper, CISSP, CISA

Eirik Cooper, CISSP, CISA has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT. Eirik began their career as a Programmer Analyst at The University of Maryland Medical System in 1997. Eirik then joined Wyle in 1998, where they held roles as an ISSO - Network Support Services and later as a Sr. Database Management Specialist until 2012.

In 2012, Eirik joined Cyberdata Technologies, Inc. as a Program Manager for NOAA NCSC before becoming a Sr. IT Security Engineer and Deputy Program Manager for NWS/NCEP Central Operations (NCO) from 2013 to 2017.

From 2017, Eirik served as the Director of Cybersecurity Solutions at IBSSCorp, where they provided cybersecurity solutions and services to federal and DoD agencies.

Currently, Eirik is the Director of Cybersecurity Engineering Services at Total Assure, a company that aims to deliver high-quality cybersecurity solutions and services to the commercial sector. They offer managed and consultative solutions to protect valuable IT resources and data from evolving threats.

Eirik Cooper, CISSP, CISA completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 1990 to 2009.
