Jim Burkitt

Jim Burkitt is a Sea Going Biological Science Technician at IBSS, where they work on marine resource survey cruises, conducting field sampling to assess various species in coastal and offshore waters. They have previous experience as a Hydrographic Technician at ERT, Inc., a Field Research Coordinator at The Research Corporation of the University of Hawai'i, and a Senior Survey Technician at NOAA. Jim holds a Master of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Georgian Court University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology & Sociology from Moravian University.
