Kevin Jeffery has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 as a Lab Technician at the Florida Institute of Technology - Sportfish Research Lab. In 2012, they worked as an REU Intern at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where they conducted independent research on petroleum platform fisheries. After that, in 2013, they worked as a Microbiology Lab Technician at Noxilizer, Inc., focusing on sterilization research using NO2 gas. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Protected Species Observer at RPS Group, documenting marine species. Kevin then moved on to Riverside Technology, inc. from 2015 to 2019, working as a Fisheries Observer II, specializing in pelagic marine fishes. Their most recent position is at IBSS, where they started in 2019 as a Science and Research Analyst and was later promoted to Program Manager in September 2020.
Kevin Jeffery obtained a Graduate Certificate in Geospatial Information Science from North Carolina State University from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Florida Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology with a minor in Sustainability. In addition to their educational background, Kevin also holds a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in December 2019.
