Scott Stewart has extensive experience in ColdFusion development and system engineering. Scott worked as a Contract ColdFusion Developer for Modis and Procom in 2008. In 2009, they served as an Application Developer at Charles & Colvard. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Software Instructor at Fig Leaf Software, where they taught various web technologies. In 2011, they were a lead ColdFusion Developer on the ADDS project for Fortitude Systems, where they modernized existing code and implemented UI refinements. Scott then joined Metters Industries as a ColdFusion Developer from December 2011 to March 2012. From April 2012 to October 2012, they worked as a ColdFusion Developer at Potomac Digitek, where they fixed bugs, improved performance, and gathered requirements for a student tracking module. Scott returned to Metters Industries as a Technical Lead/Senior ColdFusion Developer from October 2012 to September 2014, leading the development of reports for the VA Child Care Records Management System. Since September 2014, they have been a Senior Systems Engineer at IBSSCorp, responsible for managing and enhancing IIS and ColdFusion servers for a client site with over 80,000 active users worldwide.
Scott Stewart completed their education at Northern Virginia Community College from 1990 to 2003. Scott obtained a degree in Computer Information Systems during this time. Prior to that, in 1983, they attended Thomas A. Edison High School and received a general education.
In addition to their formal education, Scott has obtained several certifications. In 2010, they were certified as a CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+), and in 2021, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification. In 2013, they became a Certified Scrum Master through the Scrum Alliance. Scott also holds various Adobe certifications, including Adobe Certified Expert in ColdFusion 8 and ColdFusion 9, as well as Adobe Certified Instructor in Advanced ColdFusion 8 Development and ColdFusion 9 Development. Scott also has the Adobe Certified Instructor - Fast Track to ColdFusion 8 certification. Additionally, they hold a Certified Technical Trainer certification from CompTIA, although specific details about when they obtained this certification are not provided.
