Doug Hays

Doug Hays is an experienced project manager and engineer with a strong background in civil engineering, holding a Bachelor of Science degree from Mississippi State University. Since June 2016, Doug has served as a Project Manager at IBTS, overseeing significant projects like the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project (Phase 2), where expert management of code inspections and construction oversight was essential. Prior to IBTS, Doug worked at Professional Service Industries, Inc. as a Project Engineer, where comprehensive data analysis and collaboration with officials on bridge documentation were key responsibilities. Doug's extensive experience includes previous project management roles at SWSG and Seal Engineering, where notable structural upgrades and field investigations were performed. Earlier career roles involved hands-on engineering in infrastructure design and teaching math and science as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer, reflecting a diverse skill set and dedication to the engineering profession.
