Lauren Hakos

Lauren Hakos has over two decades of experience in communications, marketing, and event management, currently serving as the Training and Development Manager and Marketing and Communications Manager at the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission since September 2000. Key responsibilities include overseeing content development, managing non-toll revenue, preparing crisis communication plans, coordinating events, and leading media relations efforts. Additionally, Lauren has held prominent roles in the International Bridge, Tunnel & Turnpike Association, including serving as a Regent for the Leadership Academy and previously as the Chief Meeting Organizer for a major conference. Lauren's past experience includes leadership positions with the American Marketing Association - Cleveland Chapter and a role as Community Relations and Promotions Manager at Sun Newspapers. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Ohio University.
