Mauricio Barrera

Mauricio Barrera is an experienced professional with a strong background in technology and project management. Currently serving as Project Manager, Team Leader, and Full Stack Developer at ICA since May 2022, Mauricio previously worked as an Information Technology System Administrator at Servicio de Retiros y Pensiones de las Fuerzas Armadas from February 2020 to April 2022, where responsibilities included managing Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, and network security through Fortigate firewall. Early career experiences include an Administrative Assistant role at Intendencia de Montevideo and a leadership position at Asociación Civil de Estudiantes de Ingeniería - El Faro. Mauricio is pursuing degrees in Computer Engineering and Business Administration at Universidad de la República and FCEA, respectively, following early technical education at Universidad del Trabajo Uruguay.
