Mark Cahill

Mark Cahill is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as Head of R&D at iCabbi since April 2025. With over a decade of experience as a CoderDojo Mentor, Mark has contributed significantly to teaching coding to young people and establishing the Limerick branch of CoderDojo. Previously, Mark held the position of VP of Engineering at MetaCompliance, where responsibilities included managing cybersecurity solutions. Additional roles include Director of Engineering at SmartBear, Senior Director of Engineering at Roomex, and Head of Marketplace and Engineering in EMEA at Datalex. Mark has also innovated in Robotic Process Automation at Bank of Ireland and led product and engineering at Sohalo. As a guest lecturer at the University of Limerick and former Board Director of the MBA Association of Ireland, Mark has demonstrated a commitment to education and professional development. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and an MBA in Business from the University of Limerick, along with a background in Computer Engineering and Applied Physics.
