Renata Gonzalez Chong

Renata Gonzalez Chong is a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai since September 2023. In addition to current responsibilities, Renata has been a Davis UWC Scholar with The Davis UWC Scholars Program since August 2019 and has interned with Jona, focusing on data integration for an AI Healthcare Company. Prior experience includes serving as Head Residential Life Proctor at Bowdoin College and conducting undergraduate research in neuroscience at Columbia University under Dr. Netanel Ofer. Renata has also worked as a Neuroscience Research Assistant in Dr. Jennifer Honeycutt's lab, participated in the Computing Ethics Narratives Project under Dr. Fernando Nascimento, and held various roles at Instituto Cajal, TALREP SL, GeoPACHA, and the United World College Changshu China. Renata holds a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Bowdoin College and a Credential of Readiness Certificate from Harvard Business School Online.
