Alperen Eken

Alperen Eken is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy analysis and development. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Specialist at ICANN since September 2019, Alperen has held multiple roles within the organization, including Senior Policy Analyst and Policy Analyst. Prior to ICANN, Alperen co-founded Cello and held leadership positions at Co-Opinion, where responsibilities included serving as President and Director of Fundraising. Additional experience includes a role as a Process Engineer in Business Development and Strategy at QNB Finansbank and a Contractual Compliance Analyst at ICANN. Alperen's early career also includes internships in public affairs at The Dow Chemical Company and public relations at AmCham Turkey. Alperen holds a Master of Arts in International Economics and Conflict Management from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Boğaziçi University.
