Saewon Lee

Saewon LEE is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy development and research. Currently serving as the Policy Development Support Manager for the Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO) at ICANN, LEE oversees the policy development process, facilitates discussions, and drafts reports on complex issues. Previously, as Grants Manager at Cleveland Play House, LEE managed numerous government and foundation accounts, drafted and submitted multiple grants, and supported fundraising efforts. LEE’s earlier roles include tenured researcher and researcher at the Korea Information Society Development Institute, where significant contributions were made to international ICT development projects, and researcher at the Korea Development Institute, focusing on economic development projects with notable increases in project budgets and partnerships. LEE’s career is marked by substantial achievements, including receiving multiple awards for contributions to ICT policy and economic development, along with a foundational role in international cooperation initiatives.
