Albert Van Der Wijk has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Albert is currently the Business Unit Director at ICAPE Group, where they also serve as the Director of New Business Development for Northern Europe. Prior to this, they held the position of Managing Director at Aedifix Holding BV. Additionally, they have served as the Board Treasurer for the e-Lise Foundation.
Albert is a co-founder and co-owner of Nationale Notaris, where they began as the CEO and played a key role in growing the company from scratch to 48 offices across the Netherlands. Albert also established a national brand for the company.
In 2006, Albert co-founded Europe Asia Electronics Ltd, a Hong Kong-based company that supplies electronic components to mid-sized distributors. Albert served as the President of the company.
Before starting their own ventures, Albert founded Van Der Wijk C&C, a network of consultants focused on the SME market and reorganizing Dutch Notary Offices. Albert has also worked as an Associate Director at Kingsgate UK, where they worked on healthcare and legal advisory projects in Continental Europe.
Throughout their career, Albert has been involved in various professional associations, including the Turnaround Management Association.
Most recently, Albert was the Business Process Manager at Rommtech. Prior to that, they were the CEO of Flatfield multi print international bv, where they managed offshore manufacturing and logistics of printed circuit boards. Flatfield became one of the top PCB suppliers in the European market under their leadership.
Albert Van Der Wijk began their education in 1972 at CSG Emmen. During their time at CSG Emmen, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Following this, they attended the University of Groningen from 1978 to 1987. There, they completed their PhD degree in the field of Science.
